Quantum University Roorkee is currently offering PhD programs in different disciplines of engineering, management, sciences, humanities & social sciences. The basic requirements for admission to PhD program are that the candidate must have a master’s degree in the discipline with not less than 55% marks or equivalent CGPA. Only those candidates who have cleared the UGC NET/ GATE exams are eligible.
Admission requirements include a completed application form for which the applicant has to fill in an online form available on the university website and the application fee. The transcripts of the research interests of the applicants have to be filled, along with their documents such as photocopies of their academic certificates, letters of recommendation, etc. Those candidates who clear the merit list are given roll number and called for an entrance test as well as interview to be conducted by the University.

1. Check Eligibility
This means students should ensure that they meet the requirements set by the university such as educational certificates, entrance examination results, among others.
2. Find a Supervisor
Before you start the process of applying, it is important that you identify and get in touch with your potential supervisors whose areas of interests are in line with yours. First, ensure to get a supervisor before applying.
3. Fill Application Form
A complete online or offline PhD application form is required to be submitted. Attach all required documents.
4. Entrance Exam
Take the required test like RET or PRE that one has to write for admission to the university’s PhD programme. Clear the cut-off to become eligible.

In case the candidate is given an admission, then he should pay admission and semester fees in the given time.

Visit the campus with original documents to clear any and all issues that may be before the start of the term.
