PES College of Engineering Mandya provides Full Time & Part Time Ph.D. programmes in Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering. In terms of educational qualification, to seek admission for a PhD programme, one must have a Master’s degree in the respective discipline and must have secured 60% of total marks. Applicants need to fill up the application form along with research proposal indicating the area of interest on broad line.
The students who have been selected for the short-listing for the Ph.D. admission will have to sit for an entrance examination comprising of two papers, namely General Aptitude Test and Subject Specific Test and a personal interview with the PhD admission committee. This means that the candidate is required to sit for and pass a written test, an interview, and research relevance to the department. While the selected full-time students receive fellowship, the part-time scholars are charged only semester wise tuition fees.
