Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University, popularly known as MDSU, Ajmer is a university in the Indian state of Rajasthan which provides admissions to the several under graduate and post graduate courses in faculties of arts, science, commerce, law, education and management. Generally, most of the programs admit students on the performance in the qualifying examination. In the case of undergraduate programs, the selection is made on the basis of the marks scored in the Class 12th examinations. The entry requirements for postgraduate courses are different but the core requirement is usually the grades attained in the Bachelor’s degree program.

1. On the university’s website, which can be accessed through the URL www.mdu.ac.in, look for the ‘Admissions’ or ‘Online Admissions’ link and click it.
2. Choose the course/program of your choice and follow the steps that lead you through the online application.
3. You should start by opening the website and then go through the process of creating account through the inputting of your e-mail address and other personal information. Make sure the details offered are correct.
4. On the website of the Institute click on the ‘Apply online’ button and enter your login information together with the password so that you can access the application form. Such details may include personal and/or academic information, upload of documents such as resume, letter of recommendation, etc.
5. Through Net banking debit or credit card and other available modes of online transactions admit the fee for the application.
6. While completing the application form, ensure that you go through each section at least once before submitting the form. Users should ensure all details have been filled appropriately before submitting the form.
7. Althrough the application form and fee payment receipt can be printed online, it is advisable to download and save a copy of the completed form and fee payment receipt for future use.
8. Check the application status using your login details if you want to know whether your application is successful or not.
