The University offers full time and part time PhD programs in engineering, computer applications, management, commerce, pharmacy, education etc. Candidates must have passed their post graduation with minimum 55% marks or its equivalent CGPA. They are required to fill an application form accompanied by a research proposal which will be considered by the university research committee. The applicants who are selected are required to write an entrance examination set by the university and this examination involves objective questions that aims to test the research ability, logic and subject knowledge.
The candidates who have cleared the written test would be required to face the expert panel’s interview where they will be tested on their specialized field knowledge, research capabilities and areas of interest. The admission of candidates for the PhD program is done by considering their general performance, research proposal and scores in the test conducted by the university as well as interview that is conducted.
