Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences (Karunya) is a Christian institution that provides undergraduate and postgraduate studies in engineering, technology, sciences, humanities, and management. The BTech programmes have limited intake and admission is done through KITEE – an entrance examination held at the national level by the institute. Admission is also offered on the basis of JEE Main ranks as well. For other UG programmes, such as BSc, BA, BCom, etc., students are admitted based on their performance on the institute’s Karunya Entrance Test (KET) or other national and state level tests.
As for admission to PG courses, the candidate should have a relevant bachelor’s degree, minimum percentage of marks in the qualifying examination is mandatory. Admission is through national/state level exams like GATE/TANCET or through Karunya’s Post Graduate Entrance Test (KPET) depending on the specializations offered. Karunya also accepts PG candidates with 2 years of relevant work experience for its admission process.

1. On the first place, visit the official web page of the university – www.karunya.edu
2. Go to the top of the page and click on the ‘Admissions’ menu option located on the left side of the page; then click on “Online Application”.
3. Choose the course you want to apply for example for Btech, Mtech MBA etc.
4. If you did not register before, kindly click on “New Registration,” but if you have, then kindly click on the “Student Login”.
5. On the application form all the details that are required such as personal, academics, communication, etc. must be filled.
6. Give scanned images of photograph, signature along with other required certificates etc., as per the requirement of the specifications.
7. It is mandatory to pay the application fee through online mode through Net banking/ Credit card / Debit card.
8. Review the completed form and click ‘Submit’. Scribble down the registration number in your writing pad.
9. Check the admission application status by simply using the admission application login. You will receive notifications through email or text message to your phone.
10. If chosen, ratify confirmation of admission by paying fees and downloading the provisional allotment letter before the stipulated date. Submission of the report to the institute as per the stipulated requirements and calendar.
