Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (GGV) is a Central University in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh which was established in the year 1983. GGV has centralized admissions for its different undergraduate and postgraduate programs through national or university level entrance exams. For admission to undergraduate programs like BA, BSc, BCom, etc., the candidates are to sit for class 12th and obtain the minimum grades prescribed for the program. Merit is used in determining admissions, and this particularly applies to the student’s performance in the class 12th qualification. Some programs may also have their own entrance test as well too.

1. Go to the university’s admission page which is found on their website’s address; ggv.ac.in. Click on ‘Admissions’ in the website’s main menu, then click on the ‘Online Admissions’ subcategory.
2. Choose a course that you want to pursue and fill the online application form for that specific course. It is necessary to give information like name, address, phone number, e-mail id, course details, etc. as per the requirement.
3. Upload the documents that are required to be scanned such as photographs, signature, educational certificates, caste certificate if required etc., as mentioned under the procedure.
4. Pay the application fee online through net banking/credit card/debit card/upi etc.
5. After filling the application form, you have to send the filled form and a print out of the confirmation/ acknowledgment page.
6. It is recommended that one waits for the merit lists to be declared on the portal once the application process is over.
7. In case the candidate is selected in the shortlist then he/she must clear the online document verification and fee submission process within the given time frame.
8. After admission process is complete and fees have been processed, click on the link to download the provisional allotment letter from the online portal.
9. Submit the completed documents at the specified department in the university on the specified date and go through the admission process physically in addition to submitting copies also.
