Is RVCE Bangalore Better than COEP Pune?

RVCE has slightly better placements than COEP. Top companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Samsung etc. recruit from RVCE. Average salary is higher at RVCE. However, COEP also receives good placements with many core engineering companies visiting the campus.

Both colleges have well qualified and experienced faculty. Faculty at RVCE has published more research papers. However COEP faculty is also highly accomplished.

RVCE has modern infrastructure spread across a large 60 acre campus. Hostel and lab facilities are very good. COEP has an old heritage building and overcrowded hostels relatively.

Cutoffs for Computer Science and Electronics branches are higher at RVCE showing its higher demand and competition. COEP cutoffs are also high but slightly lower than RVCE.

RVCE being located in Bangalore which is an IT hub provides good industry exposure. Lots of networking opportunities in Bangalore. COEP's location in Pune also facilitates decent industry interactions.

First year fees is around ₹2 lakhs for RVCE while only ₹1.3 lakhs for COEP. So COEP is more economical.
