The WBJEEB revealed the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) Result 2024 on their official portal. Over 1.5 lakh students were registered for this State Level Eligibility Exam and they took part in the process to get the admission in B. Tech, pharmacy and architecture courses in various colleges and universities of the state of West Bengal. 

The test had offline exam mode through paper and pen different mode  in the centres of West Bengal. Overall the percentage of students who passed was 98.53. According to the reports, it is mentioned that three students who belong to Kolkata hogged the top ranks with a score of 300 marks out of 300. Students can verify their subject wise marks, rank in their merit list and other similar details by entering their roll number and date of birth through the WBJEE website. Meanwhile, counseling schedules are also planned to be posted on our website in near future.

How to Check WBJEE Result 2024

1. Navigate to wbjeeb.nic.in, the main webpage of WBJEE. Get to the results page by going to the homepage and clicking on the tab "results". Here you will see a button to check - WBJEE 2024 result.

2. On the contrary, you can make a direct link to WBJEE result page by using a direct link to the official website when the results are published. 

3. On the results page, use your application number, password and security pin as these was given to you during the application process. Ensure the accuracy of all information and submit.

4. Then, amidst the clicking sound, the displayed details get replaced by your WBJEE 2024 result on the screen. It is important to take a few minutes to review your All India Rank, the scorecard, subject wise marks, and other test details.

5. Please note that the hard copies of the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations results 2024 will be sent to candidates via email in PDF format. Therefore, it is recommended to download at least two or three print copies as a precautionary measure.

6. If required, make use of your marks and scores for the admission process in the engineering/technology/pharmacy block of renowned colleges in West Bengal.

Details Mentioned In WBJEE Result 2024

1. Candidate's name and application number: With this result, the candidate’s full name as mentioned in the application will be clearly stated. Also, the unique application number assigned to them during the application process will be displayed. 

2. Marks obtained in individual subjects: The grade the candidate will get on a 100 or 200 mark scale in the individual subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics is clearly indicated in the result. 

3. Total marks and rank: By doing this, the total sum of marks for every subject will be displayed. That way, it also reveals the candidate's general merit rank with respect to all others, who were at the WBJEE 2024 exam, based on the total scores.

4. Qualifying status: It will be evident if the candidate has made the cut and whether he/she is eligible for admission into the final year programs of his/her choice, set by the exam authorities. It seems to be a crucial thing to know them in order to choose a further line of action.

5. Category-wise rank: However, if the candidate would be applying under any reserved category such as SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B etc., their classification will also show state-specific ranks.

Documents Required For Check WBJEE Result 2024

1. Hall ticket or Admit Card- The hall ticket or admit card given at the time of the exam is compulsory to display the WBJEE Result 2024. Candidates shall enter the application number, along with the password printed on the admit card in the next step.

2. An Appropriate ID Proof - An authentic and original identity proof such as the voter id card, Aadhar card, passport or driving license must be produced for clearance during the counselling process. The candidates need to be prepared with the Candidates' brochure always ready for use.

3. Class X Certificate - The certificate regarding class tenth or equivalent examination, passed by the candidate will have to be shown to explain date of birth and similar details. 

4. Class XII pass marksheet - The document confirming the qualification (class 12th or equivalent) will be needed for the purposes of the subject and eligibility checks.

5. Caste Certificate - SC/ST/OBC candidates who does require reserved category seats while filling out the form  have to carry their original caste certificate issued by competent authority.  

6. PwD Certificate - Physically handicapped applicants should be in possession of their handicap/disability certificate issued by the medical board so that they can be availed at the time of admission for PwD quota seats.

7. WB Domicile - For the state quota seats, WB domicile in original will be required during the counselling session after the release of WBJEE 2024 result.

What is WBJEE Exam?

WBJEE - an annual state level entrance test conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) for the students who wish to join 1st year engineering, technology, pharmacy and architecture programs in universities/government colleges, and self-financed institutes in West Bengal. 

The WBJEE are almost always held in April or May every year. It is a test taken by students to get admitted to undergraduate engineering and technology programs with Paper 1. For admission to pharmacy programs, students take Paper 2. The main exam papers are multiple choice questions covering various subjects including physics, chemistry, mathematics, and aptitude.
