The Kerala State Higher Secondary Examination Board 12th class results for the school year 2023-2024 was released on the 25th of May, 2024 by the Department of High Secondary Education, Kerala. In total 4.5 lakhs of students gave the exams conducted in March-April 2024 earning a certification in Science, Commerce and Humanities streams.
There is 95.6% of passing rate this year which manifests a 2% raising compared to last year. However, girls again got a higher percentage of passing among the entire student body by approximately 1-2%, as in previous years. The pass rate in Science was at 97%, and Commerce and Humanities saw pass rates of 94% and 93% respectively in that stream. In various subjects, there were 13 students who secured full marks in each subject with 600/600 of the total.

The results of the Kerala PUC or Class 12 board exams of the academic year 2023-24 were declared by the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE), Kerala on May 10th, 2024. The examination conducted in March 2024 in the streams like Science, Commerce, and Humanities post participation of 4.6 lakh students.
The grade average this yer was 85.6%, which were 2% lower than last year. The pass rate last year was 87.6%. In the Science stream, the pass rate was 90% that included girls’ performance to outdo the boys by 5%. Even though Commerce stream had 82% students passing the exam only. The Humanities stream has secured 74% of students passing. Out of the districts, the top rank was reserved by Ernakulam with 91% while Kottayam was in the second position with 89%.
