Jagannath University Bahadurgarh attracts Ph.D. candidates annually with performance-oriented criteria in different fields of study. Candidates have to be master graduate of the choice subject who obtained a minimum aggregate mark of 55%. In addition, they must perform the PhD admission exam and the interview at the university for getting the admission.
The two-paper entrance test covers knowledge in both Research Aptitude and the subject. 1. For the PhD program you plan to apply for, check the university website or admission notification to get the information on the last day of applying and the program’s eligibility criteria.
2. Write your application clearly and submit the enlisted documents including - photocopies of 10th, 12th, bachelor’s and master’s certificates, experience letters (if any), research proposal, and no objection certificate (if applicable).
3. Submit the online application or the printout of the online form filled in, along with a demand draft drawn in favour of "Jagannath University" payable at Bahadurgarh and get the same signed by the bank.
4. The filled application form and the documents together with the fee slip should be submitted at your university's admissions/registrars office before the deadline. Other methods of delivering application including speed post/courier can also be used.

1. Jagannath University takes in its own entrance exam which is JUET (Jagannath University Entrance Test) for getting into PhD courses. The test is a very essential prerequisite as candidates must score at least 40% in the JUET and qualify the exam.
2. The JUET Exam assesses candidates by testing their subject matter skills, critical thinking ability, and aptitude at post-graduation level. Generally, the question pattern utilized in an examination comprises of multiple choice or short answers, and in some cases an essay or descriptive type responses.
3. The college has to not only rely upon JUET but also the scores of other national/state level exams like UGC-NET, JRF, or SLET. Yet, all the candidates have to go through an interview round in addition to meeting other eligibility criteria.
