HPBOSE (Himachal Pradesh Board of school education) released the result of HP board class 10th on May 25th, 2024. A total of 1.75 lakh students had opted to write their board exams which comprise the class 10 board exams scheduled to take place from 15th of March till 5th of April 2024, that are being conducted at various test centers within Himachal Pradesh.
The percentage of all the candidates who passed the exam stood at a margin of 2% up to 78.62% from last year's 76.6%. SOS candidates performed better when compared with pass percentage of regular category (74.2%) and special option (97.5%). However, in relation to gender bias in examination, girls again came on top by obtaining 82.7%, while 75.8% were for boys.
The District who made the most progress in this regard was Kangra with an as high as 84.5% of students clearing the exam. The downside to this story is that the lowest pass percentage of 58.2% was attained in Chamba section. From a total of 45 students, who figured in the HP Board Class 10 merit list 2024 by scoring more than 98%, many of them are present among us today before you. Ayushi from Dharamshala managed to score the highest with 99.4 marks still.
