Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University (HNGU) lets the students apply for the course they are looking for through online admission process which covers undergraduate and postgraduate programs of its affiliated Colleges. The potential students are invited to apply for admission through the website of the university the link to the admission portal of which is provided on the main page. In the start, they should register themselves by submitting personal information such as name, contact details, and the educational background in which they have studies.
Following the registration, first-year students may log in to their individual accounts to complete the online application form. The applicants have to submit scanned copies of documents such as photos, signature, and a certificate of qualifying examination through online mode. The guidelines for the same would be provided. On top of that they will have to process and pay their application fees online. - Majority of selections of undergraduate and postgraduate programs are based on the merit of the qualifying test for both the admission exams (for undergraduate it is 10+2 and for postgraduate it is graduation exams). An additional exam is not required.
- For MBA, MCA courses that require national level test scores, it is of great significance to get cleared in exams like CAT, MAT, CMAT etc.
- Both, Ph.D and MPhil programs are to go through the university's entrance exam that consists of written test and interview. All candidates are expected to the HNGU exam as the qualifying criterion.
- The institutions for the professional degrees like the ones in engineering, pharmacy etc., come under the state and national authorities which requires the candidates to go through entrance exams like JEE Main, GATE, or GUJCET etc.
