The JEE Advanced 2024 test paper has two sections Paper 1 and Paper 2 both of which are of 3-hour duration. The tests are usually designed to check students' understanding of Physics and Chemistry as well as Mathematics topics from Classes 11 and 12. The question types include theoretical concepts, apply-based problem, and numerical questions for both papers. The negative marking is allocated to inaccurate answers. JEE Advanced Exam Eligibility 2024

1. Only the ones who cleared their 12th exams or its equivalent last year — 2023 — will be eligible to apply

2. Candidates will need to obtain at least 75% of aggregate marks in either 12th/equivalent exam or such. The minimum overall for SC/ST  is 65% on marks. 

3. The successful candidates here shall be among the first 2,50,000 students obtained from all categories in B.E./B.Tech (overall). The detail of JEE Paper 2024.

4. A candidate can appear for JEE (Advanced) twice continuously irrespective of the fact that he either has cleared qualified exam or failed in it.

5. The aspirants who have qualified for JEE (Advanced) 2024 should have enrolled in any institute other than the IITs in 2023 and should also meet the other eligibility criteria to be allowed to participate in the exam.
