The University offers PhD programs in all the faculties of Agriculture, Veterinary Science, and other allied disciplines at Junagadh Agricultural University (JAU). The minimum qualification criteria for admission to PhD is a master’s degree in the concerned subject with not less than 55% marks or equivalent grade.
The admission for PhD programs begins with the announcement of the admission notice by the respective universities. Applicants have to complete the application form provided and attach the necessary documents before the stated deadline. 1. Identify the admission requirements like educational qualification, entrance exam score, etc. in accordance with the rule of university to apply for the PhD program.

1. Check eligibility - Make sure you at least meet the minimum education requirement of a postgraduate course with this qualification. In some cases the departments will be asking for some supplementary terms.

7. Screening - Final admission decisions made based on academic record, entrance exam scores, interview performance and chances of getting the best suited seats/guides. Once they are selected, prospective candidates need to pay fees to confirm that they have been admitted.
