CMJ University Ri-Bhoi now hereby announces applications for Admission to the Ph.D. Program in the Science, Humanities, Commerce, and Management departments. The candidates must be a holder of the Master’s degree in the subject with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade as an eligibility enter. Candidates who earn high marks in their penultimate semester can also apply.
The application procedure entails filling an online application form plus upload documents and paying the application fee. It is then followed by entrance test which involves writing an exam which has 3 components such as research aptitude, subject competence, and language proficiency. From among the candidates, those who are short-listed are called for an interview, and their analytical skills and research aptitude are evaluated by a panel.

1. Verifie eligibility criteria for the PhD program that you want to apply to in the university. Typically, a candidate has a master's degree in the correlating subject and at least a significant score.
2. The applicant can either download the PhD application from the university e-library or acquire it from the admissions office. Go through the entire checklist and understand all the rules.
3. Fill all the form of the application carefully so that it does not have any mistake. Strive to identify your interest area and a PhD topic for research that you tentatively have in mind.
4. Enclose all the attachments along with the application form - the degree's/marksmeshet's copies, research proposal, publications if any, work experience certificates, etc. Everything should be attested.
5. Employer’s letter of recommendation, no objection certificate and most of the time closing letter are necessary.
6. While all the application forms must be submitted before the closing date, processing/application fees (if applicable) shall be sent together with the application forms. Submit personal by completing or by post/courier.
7. On qualifying the cut-offs in the application screening, and possessing a Bachelor's degree have you appear for the entrance exam conducted by the CMJ University.
